First 2008 North Dakota Blizzard

This picture was taken midafternoon... by the evening ~ the drift doubled in size! It's taller than a person! This drift covers the sidewalk that comes into our apartment building. Just amazing! I guess our storm even made National News! ha ha ha! The weather is bad enough and COLD enough to warrant NO SCHOOL for the next day! YEAH!

Gas prices keep falling....

This is the gas prices for the last couple of days and still at 12:45pm this afternoon ~ but at 3:45pm this afternoon ~ gas is now $1.94 / gallon!
That is fantastic!!!

Our first snow!!!

This is what we woke up to this morning! North Dakota is lovely with a LITTLE bit of snow! ha ha ha But by mid-afternoon, all the snow was gone. Here's a couple more pictures.

We have been enjoying Fall! Watching our favorite football teams ~ or ANY game that happens to be on! We've been known to watch 2-4 games at one time! ha ha ha! And of course we've been watching the World Series!!

Mike also had a wonderful opportunity to spend a few days in Hamden, Connecticut. Here are a few beautiful pictures from his stay there ~

Enjoying Fall in Fargo, ND...

North Dakota has many beautiful, natural, Fall gifts! While driving home from work one afternoon, we came across a grassy area near some water where 1000's of geese were gathering. It was a very lovely site to see!

Mike, Derik and Alex are all back at their school work!
We've been busy making the wedding plans.

But before all the family fun ~ Mike's softball team had tournaments on Saturday and again Sunday morning...
Here's the 2008 Woody's/Captain Morgan Softball Team
Normally, the tournament would bring sadness with it as it usually is the last time we see some of these men and their families until Spring ~ however ~ Mike is going to play Fall Ball with a lot of them! So it's not good bye just yet!

Our family welcomes Natalie Ann!
Congratulations Brian and Debbie!
She was brought into the world this last Friday!
She joins her two year old brother Nathan!

Mike has his last softball game for the season this coming week!

We've been working on some of the wedding plans... we are both very excited! Once we have more of the details figured out ~ we'll share them with you!

Hey Everyone!

On Tuesday, the weather was wonderful! Mike and I went over to Rosecreek Golf Course. Mike's the golfer and I just walk along. I thought Mike had a GREAT day of golf! He made two birdies and two eagles! Pretty fun to witness! Then we headed over to Lindenwood for softball. Mike hit TWO home runs! It was a really fun day! Here's some of our softball friends!
I'm bummed I didn't get pictures of everyone,
